Keys to Succeed

Know who you are

On your life journey you will enjoy mountain views, trek through dark valleys and at times become extremely nauseous with the continual twists and turns of your destined path. It’s easy to become lost and overwhelmed while the heart and brain play tug-of-war with your unfulfilled dreams. But when you know who you are, you will walk confidently wherever your path may lead.

Set a goal

Without a focus the human psyche begins to wander. Sometimes it can be refreshing to meander through life, but if you do it to long, depression can sneak in and rob the fullness of life you are meant to enjoy. It’s good to have an overall plan. Just set a general direction and start walking.

Create your own reality

If you’re not happy with your present circumstances…change them. It may sound simplistic but it’s true. If you don’t like your weight ~ pick a great diet and stick to it! If your health is suffering, get help. If you’re in a bad relationship ~ get out. If you want to go back to school ~ do it!!! The only thing holding you back is you! Turn all those excuses into action!

Play the part

Sometimes the only way to get through something is to “Fake it til you make it!” There is absolutely nothing wrong with pretending. Repetition will become habit and practice makes perfect. Before you know it you’ll be walking strong and achieving your dreams.

One thing is certain, we all have the ability to do anything we set our mind too…
we just need to set it!!

  2. Good stuff! How about "Finally brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - medidtate on these things." Philippians 4:8

  3. This is kind of a trivial thing but it sort of relates...to thoughts changing things. Last night my toes kept cramping while I was trying to go to sleep. I rubbed my toes but they still kept cramping. So I started thinking to myself "My toes are relaxed. They feel better." I wasn't even touching my feet as I said this. I kept saying it to myself and maybe 2 minutes later the cramps totally stopped. We can control things by how we think.

  4. Wow, I really appreciate this post! So true, and so good to stop and remember... especially because I'm currently struggling with all four points lol.

Thanks! And I'm totally going to check out your blog... :)
