Welcome to the Project! My name is Screaming Meme! Though I don't really scream a lot, I love to scream about the Project! I created the Project for a way for inspiring and creative women to come together and build each other up to the women we all long to be...

• The women that can use power tools and change their own oil in high heels (If they wanted to).


• The women that can learn to find her "own" style for her home and herself.


• The women that want to learn to make their home more welcoming for family and guests and for themselves.


• The women that can run a marathon or learn to do Yoga, even though they used to think they couldn't.


• The women that want to learn to find more energy through the right diet and exercise, because they lose energy within a few hours of waking up.


• The women that can start a new business, even though they have been struggling with anxiety or fear and have been a prisoner from that their whole life...


• The women that want to learn how to be more spiritual and in touch with God.


• The women that want to learn to be happy and fulfilled, even though this world has dealt them a bad hand...And wants to be able to live the rest of her days feeling grateful and happy to just be alive!
• The women who want to learn easier ways to be the wife and mother they truly were meant to be.


• The women who are starting out and have so many questions about life and which road to take...


• The women who are dealing with the empty nest syndrome and need guidance from women that have been there.


• The women who are so disorganized that if, Oprah and Peter Walsh, were to show up at her door step, she would run and hide...(I know your out there! :)


• The women that really don't know how to use a skillet or can't even find the skillet to feed their poor family because she is cooking~disabled!


• The women that want to learn to cut household costs through learning to shop more efficiently and learn to make things on her own.


• The women that want to learn how to use the computer more efficiently and who need guidance and how to's to get there.


• The women that just need a little lift or humor to continue down that beautiful road we call life!

We share so much wealth of knowledge on the Project! We have questions through out our lives, and the best answers come from women who have been there...Welcome to the Project! Where you not only learn to create a home, but you learn to create a LIFE!

In honor of the Grand Opening of Project {create a home}, I'd like to introduce myself:

I am Sarah from BlueCastle.

A year ago I started my own blog and since then, my life has not been the same. I've enjoyed sharing my life with strangers who have quickly become friends.

Being a stay-at-home mom for the past 9 years has given me a lot of time at home. I've learned how to decorate my home using very little money, and a ton of imagination. I find the greatest enjoyment in finding "treasure" with hidden potential, taking them home and fixing them up. I've spent a small fortune on spray paint, and amassed a good collection of tools - including some power tools.

I firmly believe every woman should know how to use a drill, jigsaw and sander.

If you say the words "thrift store" around my house my husband may start to look slightly panicked, while my boys run from the room, afraid they will have to accompany me on another treasure hunt.

A couple months ago Screaming Meme asked me to be a contributor for Project {create a home} and I've enjoyed becoming a part of this great group of ladies here. I believe The Project is a great place for anyone to find inspiration for their daily life.

We all long to be that woman in our dreams...The woman who steps out and creates a life that is sure to leave a legacy...A woman who creates and inspires the world to be a better place...A woman that dares to fight the tide of life to get to a place that will free her of all her insecurities and wounds from the past...It's time to nurture and care for that woman that lives inside you, so that you may have even more to give to this world...

I wanted to create a giveaway to reflect the beauty and vision of the Project...I wanted it to be a gift of change and inspiration to the winner's life...I lost sleep on thinking of how I could create a giveaway that could touch some one's life and make a difference that could ultimately change who they are and what we can become...I came up with...Drum roll, please........

A Life & Style Makeover...The winner will be able to choose three areas in their life that they need help on...And the Project Girls will magically help guide them to a new place and a new vision for their life...Here's how it works...Say the winner chooses to create a new living space that she can enjoy and relax in...The Decorating team will work together with her via email,photos and blog to help stage her living space...A virtual makeover, you say? Yes, We will help her move things around...snoop through her other rooms to bring new life into her space, and suggest items that she could bring in to make the space even better! It will be a detailed process that will be revealed to Blog Land in the next coming months...She can also choose from...

• Economical &tips and easy ways to cut costs... Easy Menu Plan...which would include recipes,

At the end of the Makeover the team will get together and decide on a gift that will best suit her new life...Screaming Meme will personally select and purchase the item that will be given...

Life & Style Makeover will start Monday, March 16th, 2009, 12:00 am...One lucky winner will be chosen by the Project Girls...The participants will have to write an essay on why they or someone they love deserves a Life & Style Makeover and post it on their blog...We will have Mr. Linky set up, so that you can enter your post... The Life & Style Giveaway will end on Monday March 23rd, 2009 5:00 pm Central Time....
