recipe for achy feet

tired and achy feet? grab a water basin and a few items from the pantry...and you have a great start to wake up those toes and make you relax in the meantime.

run a nice basin of boiling water and let it cool to warm...and pick a recipe!!

java foot soak
brewed coffee is not just for drinking any more...add 2 cups of coffee to each gallon of water

springtime soak
1 cup lemon juice, 1 tbs of olive oil and 1/4 cup of milk...mix well and add to one gallon of water.

garden soak
do you have fresh blooming flowers in your garden? add some fresh flower petals to warm water and soak away...and it will smell so nice!

honey soak
one cup of honey per gallon of water

your momma was right foot soak
1/2 cup of epsom salts for each gallon of water...soothes tired, achy and swollen feet.

skin softening foot soak
1/4 lemon juice
2 tbs olive oil
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water
bit of cinnamon
mix together and soak your toes.

  6. Innnnteresting... coffee foot soak? I guess even my toes can appreciate a good caffeine pick-me-up. But at the moment that joe would be much better off in my mug with some creamer, so maybe what I need to do is make a huge pot and do both... ;P
