got a little bit of time and a lot of mouths to feed?
1 whole chicken, rinsed and patted dry {giblets removed}
2 cups chicken broth {or 2 bouillon cubes and 2 cups hot water}
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 onion, quartered
3 cloves garlic, crushed
salt and pepper
roll 3 balls of aluminum foil about 3 inches in diameter each.
stuff the chicken {for flavoring only...do not eat} with quartered onion and garlic.
add chicken broth to the crock pot.
sprinkle with poultry seasoning and salt and pepper.
place the chicken on top of the balls of foil.
bake on high for 1 hour, low for 6-7 hours {leaving the lid on for steaming}
