springy love...and shopping! yeah!

what? you missed us? well, we've packed up the old christmas decor and suddenly there's more time! so let's get back to "creating".

with the winter in full swing, i am soooo ready for some springtime! i thought i'd share a little bit of joy and spring with you all too! some great deals and cute goodies to boot!

jogging: the plan

if you've been around here any time at all, you know that we love to support a healthy life style here at PCAH...but i hate running! that's a problem.

i need to run. i need to lose that extra belly flab. but i hate running.
then i discovered an actual plan that i could do...to get me off the couch and jogging in a way that i could achieve something and not get stressed out.

no more sitting around planning my jog and not doing it...it's actual action!

enter couch to 5k
my miracle...they have a full plan devised {HERE} to take you literally from doing nothing {thus the couch} to running a 5k in 9 weeks.

i love it!

first, i can actually achieve the goals that are set before me...and i feel like i can do more and jump ahead...but don't, bc then you get a pain in your leg and you feel bad and well, just stick to the plan!!!

the plan takes 20-30 minutes 3 days a week...and well, me and hubs have been doing it after all the little girlies are in bed and we have a sitter...it's short and we can get it done...and it's talking time with hubs too!!!

you can even buy a calendar add on tot remind you of what you need to do {hello, type a's} and then track your progress {HERE}.

so grab your shoes and pull out the stops and get jogging...and then, let me know how you are doing...because i am trying really hard here!!!

allow me to introduce myself...i'm danyele, the managing editor of project{create a home} and the bloggy momma behind a thorn among roses.

i am a wife of a super hot man, a momma to 4 silly and funny girlie pies and a foster mom to many. i am an open book...our family is our life, right next to our faith. i blog to show everyone that weird is the new normal and everyone needs to learn to laugh a little bit at themselves a little more.

i am a do-er kinda girl...if i see something i like, i try it. and i don't it. crafting around is just fun for me...i don't get anal, i just craft for pretty's! i will try my hand at about anything...and if i fail, well, i right it up as not my field of expertise.
i am an mechanical engineer by degree, so i can over analyze just about anything...and i'm a techie. sad, but true. i love to cook, but only if it's simple, and inexpensive and my fam will eat it.
my biggest passion is photography with crafting coming in a very close second. anything that i can express myself and there's no real "rules" is my kind of thing!

so stomp around here...look at all the super fab stuff. you will want to learn some new things. if not, we'll tell you where you can buy them or bribe your friends to make them for you.
